Top Notch Training and Instruction – All the Four Seasons Farm clients and their horses are part of our Hunter/Jumper training program. We tailor each program to suit the individual needs of the horse and/or rider. We offer lessons and riding as often as needed, and we keep open lines of communication with each student. We also travel to rated horse shows at least two weeks a month.
Starting Young horses and Reschooling – We offer caring and considerate starting, training, reschooling, and conditioning. We work toward stabilization as the first step in all of our training. We believe teaching a horse self carriage allows them to work through their bodies properly and creates better quality of movement and jumping style. Our horses are happy with their jobs and approach their work quietly and confidently.
School Program – Four Seasons Farm has wonderful school ponies and horses. They are safe, kind, and fun. Each is ridden on a moderate schedule, preventing any ‘sour’ attitudes. Rather, they enjoy their jobs. Our dedicated instructors keep the lessons fun, as well as educational. With our program, we take the approach of teaching the whole riding experience. The student learns to groom the pony and tack it up before the lesson, and cool down and groom it when the lesson is over.
Retirement Program/ Rehabilitation – We offer an excellent program for retired show horses. With our extensive pasturing capability, the retired horse is given the opportunity to live out its life in a non-stressful and relaxed environment. With daily grooming and attentive veterinary care when needed, we keep the old soldiers happy and healthy. We also offer experienced rehabilitation and lay up services to those horses needing time to recover from injury. We have an incredible success rate with returning injured performance horses to the show ring.
Competitive IEA Team – Any middle school or high school student can join our IEA team. We have a record of success and have fun doing it. Check out the Four Seasons Farm IEA Team page for more info.
